I've been looking at many websites and reading and watching videos about PLN. Appears to be a pretty good concept but with this information I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I will need to do to apply and then create my own PLN. All information researched about PLN's seem to point out that this is shared communication for both teaching and learning. Being a manager of safety-security in healthcare I'm already associated with a few links that I must provide information to a New York State database and another site is a secured network linked to law enforcement etc. Both these sites do give me information as well. For a while now I've had Linked-In but I barely get much information other then profile updates. I'm wondering if between these sites and Empire do I have a foundation of where I need to start from? On that note I'm off to do more research and hopefully that will be answered.
